Brainy Method Overview

A precision, systems-based approach to concussion care and brain health.

B — Baseline Regulation
Establish physiological readiness by supporting autonomic and sensory regulation, improving tolerance to stimulation, and reducing threat responses. This phase creates the capacity needed for assessment, learning, and adaptation before increasing cognitive, sensory, or physical demand.

R — Responsive Assessment
Use iterative, system-aware assessment to identify the primary drivers of symptoms. Rather than relying on diagnosis or symptom lists alone, this phase focuses on how visual, vestibular, cervical, autonomic, and cognitive systems interact—and how they change over time.

A — Active Systems Rehabilitation
Deliver targeted, system-specific interventions based on identified drivers. Rehabilitation is intentionally dosed and progressed across relevant systems (e.g., oculomotor, vestibular, cervical, autonomic, cognitive), avoiding generic or one-size-fits-all approaches.

I — Intentional Reintegration
Purposefully reintroduce real-world cognitive, sensory, and physical demands to support meaningful participation in work, school, sport, and daily life. Progression is guided by system readiness, not symptom suppression alone.

N — Neuroperformance & Longevity
Support long-term brain health by maintaining gains, preventing drift, and building buffer capacity. This phase emphasizes resilience, adaptability, and performance across the lifespan through ongoing reinforcement, tune-ups, and strategic progression

Y — You in Context
Care is guided by the individual’s goals, identity, environment, and season of life. This pillar ensures that clinical decisions remain person-centered, relevant, and sustainable—recognizing that brain health exists within the context of real lives, not protocols.
